Christmas season is just around the corner and we can tell! Due to heavy snowfall the past couple of days, the daily life of the Dutch has been turned on its head completely. Schools have been closed early, public transport was in complete shutdown and traffic jams haven’t been this severe in months. However, when we do manage to get home, the best feeling is to snuggle up to our loved ones and have a (spiked) hot chocolate next to the Christmas tree.
Three of our Sparks, founders of gin distillery JAJEM, came up with an idea to make this experience even more enjoyable. With their take on an iconic decoration, they managed to combine two already amazing things: alcohol and Christmas tree ornaments. These jolly balls suffice as alcohol containers and can be refilled as many times as you’d like, ensuring you never run out of juice when chanting your favourite Christmas carols.
In doing so JAJEM manages to add several dimensions to this ornamental staple besides sight, as touch, taste, smell (and pure anticipation) are all involved to make for a multi-sensory experience. In fact, JAJEM seems to intuitively cater to a trend that we call Sensory Fetishism. If you'd ask us want we want for Christmas, we'd tell you we wish for more brands to take such a 5 dimensional approach to their branding. Aside from that, it also offers you a clever lifehack, because let’s be real: who doesn’t want to take a sip of gin when nobody’s watching? Deck the trees with balls of jolly indeed! ;)
What keeps you warm during these cold winter days?
